Ship Facts: Celebrity Equinox Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Equinox Deck Plans
Another Amazing Cruise with Celebrity

Just got back a few days ago on the Celebrity Cruise Ship the Equinox. Had an amazing trip.

We booked the Aqua Class and loved it. We enjoyed many benefits, but the best was the Blu Restaurant for Aqua Spa guests only. Really can't describe how amazing the food was every night. Much lighter and more original then the main dining rooms. We were just in love with this restaurant and the extraordinary service. Top notch all the way!!!!

Other really amazing things......

The entire staff on the ship was always kind, helpful, happy and professional. The only exception was the pool staff. We felt blessed with everyone on the ship as the service was outstanding.

The entertainment was really top-notch! The was such an assortment of different types and really professional and quality. Our biggest complaints are the times which the shows were offered, 7 and 9. We missed several shows because our dinner was at 8:00 so it made it difficult to get there at 7:00 and not feel rushed. We would have loved to see more. Paul was a fabulous cruise director, and I have to admit I could t hold back tears when he sang Italian with one of the female performers singing the Prayer as the closing number. You really got a sense how tight the crew is aboard the ship and how much they love their jobs.

We loved the ports, but felt very rushed in St.Kitts and they should have cut down one port stop and maybe did a overnighting Barbados or St. Maarten, where we wished we had much more time.

Some complaints they need to correct. Storage in the rooms is just not sufficient. Actually we were stepping over shoes and fins as we never could get well organized. They had about a 6" shelf in the shower and we kept dropping razors and bottles every day.....super irritating and unnecessary. Pool deck had really bad service and entertainment very sporadic......our biggest disappointment. Always had to go to bar or hunt someone down for a drink. Disembarkation was awful and we were suppose to have priority with Aqua Spa.

I want to clarify that outside of these above complaints, we loved the cruise, staff, food, ship and entertainment. It was also one of the liveliest ships in the evening which we loved. The staff is truly fabulous! This was our 14th cruise, 3rd with Celebrity. This is our favorite line.
