Sail Date: Feb 2014

First of all, this was my first time leaving from New York. It's a beautiful, very busy city and we had absolutely perfect weather to leave out of. Normally in February it's cold but the day we left I had a tank top on, and the sun was out.

This was my 5th cruise and I've sailed with Carnival and Princess before so this was my first time with Norwegian and the whole freestyle dining thing.

I'll talk about the ship first. The ship itself was absolutely beautiful. Very different from the other ships I've been on. The atrium is gorgeous but not the center of attention like the other cruise lines. The casino was spread out, not in just one room, which was really cool actually. The big screen tv is actually at the back of the ship, where usually it's in the center. We didn't find it until about the third day because you had to go through the arcade to get there. All of the public places were beautiful and I really liked the layout of the ship. It looked new and very clean.
