This was my first time sailing with NCL and was excited to be on board this brand new ship. I will break this review into different topics:
Cabins
We had a standard balcony room on Deck 11. It had lovely décor, and the cabin size was fine although felt smaller than other balcony rooms on other cruise lines. The great thing is that the bed can convert into 2 twins from a queen, so this is super when travelling with a friend/roommate. The location of the closet however is awkward – as you have to squeeze between the bed to get into it. The cabin steward made up the room only once per day – often it was past 2pm before beds were made, our “towel art” was presented in the afternoon, and the evening service consisted only of towel exchange. Note: When you enter your cabin for the first time you will see blue towels presented as though it is a welcome aboard gift however these are actually your pool towels. If you lose them or take them home there will be a $25 charge per towel. There is no sign indicating this – we only found out by overhearing a passenger on the elevator.
