This was our 4th cruise and we we did not know exactly what to expect as we had not cruised with Celebrity. We were cruising along with 3 other couples. The embarkation from the port of Miami was very quick and efficient. We arrived by taxi at about noon and we were on the ship for lunch by 12:45 p.m. We were greeted on board and were able to make some changes to our beverage package immediately without waiting in any lines. Upon entry onto the ship, we noticed all the beautiful art work and the large tree that graces through the atrium. Our room was larger than we expected with ample bathroom space. We were very pleased with the location of our room and the balcony. We did not have to wait very long for our luggage to arrive to ur room. This gave us an opportunity to directly head to the pool to enjoy a swim. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and efficient. Our room was kept in very good condition and the room attendant was always nearby for any questions or needs.

We could not believe the level of service that we encountered on this cruise. I rate the service a 9 out of ten as compared to our previous cruises. The food at the buffet was very good and plentiful and being a vegetarian there was always a good selection of fruits, vegetables and non meat dishes. The dahl soup was excellent. The food and service in the dinning room was amazing! It was a nice added feature to have the same servers each night. We got to know them and they made us feel very comfortable at all times.

We did not book any excursions and enjoyed visiting the ports doing our own thing. We enjoyed both beaches in St Maarteen and St Thomas. We did a short one hour city tour in Puerto Rico and found a restaurant to enjoy some Pina Coladas. If you are looking for jewellery these are the ports to shop. Too many of these stores for my liking as I am not a big on jewellery and would not purchase an item unless I knew excactly what I was purchasing. We like to visit the ports for the other things they have to offer. We would absolutely cruise and recommend the Celebrity Cruise line to everyone. This ship is fairly new and it was very evident with the updated lounges, art work and bars. Can't wait for the next one!
