My husband and I are in our fifties. We love to travel. We have been on a lot of cruises. We keep coming back to Royal Caribbean. They seem to have everything that we enjoy. We have discovered that each ship has its pros and cons. You need to decide what is more important to you and do your research well. This will help you to get the most out of your cruise.

We were on the 12/09/06 departure of the Navigator of the Seas Western Caribbean. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale on the day prior. We took Larry's Limo from the Ft. Lauderdale airport to the InterContinental Hotel Biscayne Bay. The hotel is beautiful and we paid for a bayside view so we could see the ships the next morning.

The next morning we left the hotel around 11:00AM and arrived at the pier shortly after that. There was a small line that moved quickly. We had a grand suite and were told we would have priority boarding. After we checked-in we were told to get our picture taken and they would tell us where to go for the priority boarding. No one did. We asked several uniformed people and they said that was something that the reservations agent told people but wasn't true. They said to stand in line. My husband wasn't going to let that go by. He got out of line and kept asking. Finally someone knew and we were taken to another area and were boarded first. They tell you this is a perk of the Grand Suites and above. If it is, you should get it.
