I have been to Cuba many times before but taking the Cuba Cruise was a wonderful way to see it from a new perspective.
The cruise was well organized from embarkation to disembarkation. The excursions offered are interesting and given by competent guides that know their area and history inside and out. There was not one question they could not answer.
Service on this boat shines. The ship is a smaller size one and you can feel that the staff are like a family on board and they extend this feeling to you the clients. Especially the staff from the dining room.
The food was very good, international fare. The chef is French. A steakhouse offering Alberta steak (high quality beef and cuts) is available at an extra charge but I was quite satisfied with the quality and variety of offering in the main dining room.
The boat amenities were basic but clean and well maintained. This cruise is one about the destination and great service, not a floating city with luxurious and modern amenities.
Rooms were nice, quiet, clean and roomy enough that it never felt cramped. The bed was very comfortable.
Entertainment and activities on board were in line with the theme of the destination with salsa, jazz, flamenco, circus show but there was something for every taste. Do not miss Ronny's show. A waiter from the dining room that sings just like Elvis and perform one night. What a voice.
All in all, I loved this cruise so much I will return next year with family and friends when the ship returns. I recommend it whole heartily.
