I missed sending in a requested review but wished you to know we were most disappointed with our recent cruise on Infinity from Santiago to Buenos Aires. This was our 5th cruise with Celebrity and we found you are cutting too many corners on the ship now. We did have some bad luck as we could not go ashore in Punta Arenas due to bad weather, a passenger needed to be hospitalized so we had to re route, we could not dock in Puerto Madryn due to industrial action. All these incidences were of no fault of the ships, we fully realized this. BUT the result of the incidences was we were at sea for 4 or 5 days, not even a film was put on in the theatre, nor were we given so much as a bottle of wine for compensation. The Captain hardly even said he was sorry though his English was so poor it was nearly impossible to understand him.

We found the standard of the shopping poor, the standard of the entertainment much lower than that which we have had in the days of Brooks Aaron and Lindsay Hamilton. There was no ice festival, no baked Alaska and parade etc You know the corners which have been cut.!

The end result for us is we think we will not be going on another Celebrity Cruise which is sad as we have enjoyed our previous cruises with you.
