Just returned last night from the victory...Our 1st night was in miami we stayed at the Days Inn Airport North pretty scary but from what I could see anything close to the airport was scary. We took a taxi to south beach $35 each way probably would not do that again...

Sunday was embarkation day everything went very well, very organized much more so than our last cruise out of houston on Princess. There were lines but they kept them moving quickly. My 1st thought when I walked on the ship was that it was every bit as gorgeous as our last ship. Our room was plenty big lots of storage space and VERY comfortable beds. We were in a perfect spot on the ship #9254 on the lido deck near everything. I had read that the ships layout was confusing..I don't agree we found it to be easy. As long as you remember deck 9 lido (buffet, pool) deck 5 (casino which leads to everything else!)

On that note FOOD- don't bother with the buffet...I had read this on other reviews and had to find out the hard way! HORRIBLE!!! go right to the grill for a burger or a sandwich. Breakfast grab a bowl of cereal & fruit DON'T TRY THE EGGS! Now the dinning room is a completely different story great food every night! Overall the food with the exception of dinning room food was poor the good news stepping on the scale this morning I didn't gain near as much weight as I did on our last cruise.
