This was my second cruise with carnival and by far less favorable. It has been quite some time since the last time i sailed with carnival, 6 years i believe, however most likely last time none the less. The service was just atrocious. The dining staff was not terrible. However the pool staff servers were extremely rude. I consider myself very easy gong and have never given a bad review in my life but this cruise line has compelled me to hopefully help others to not spend there money on this terrible waste of time and money. The pool staff were by far the worst, obviously targeting those who appeared to be the most willing to tip the best in cash (they made a mistake last week as i am more than generous with gratuities for adequate service) and ignoring all other. To a certain extent many were even rude to customers they felt were not worthy of their time. The "diverse" crew had few employees who spoke English as a first language and misunderstood myself and my party several times, bringing the wrong drinks and were just incompetent for there jobs. The staff in the gym and customer service showed similar traits both poking fun at guests and providing terrible if not useless service to the passengers. Although i listened to the complaints of the bartenders any time i tried to buy a drink i am uncertain as to why the service is so atrocious. It seems almost universal that everyone on the ship hated their job and nobody wanted to be their. Although the food and islands were adequate i would never wish a week of carnival on anyone i had any concern for. With all other things being average the service was just to terrible to ever consider using again.
