This was our first cruise with NCL and it won't be our last. Although this was our third visit to Hawaii, it seemed like it was all brand new because of the Pride of America. From the first day to the last everything was enjoyable.

Our stateroom was mid-ship balcony and it was in a great location. Our steward kept it shipshape troughout the cruise. We ate in the MDRs and in 2 specialty restaurants (La Cuchina and East Meets West). The food ranged from good to excellent. This could also describe the entertainment. The entertainment staff was very engaging, talented and enthusiastic. The comic, Bud Andersen, was very good. The Four Seasons tribute band, Oh What a Night, was excellent. The ship was kept especially clean and all crew members that I encountered were friendly and helpful. We took 5 shore excursions (2 with NCL and 3 with Roberts Hawaii). They too ranged from very good to excellent. However all these excursions can be tiring which makes enjoying all the nighttime activities difficult.

The location of this cabin was very good in that you were close enough to any of the ship's activities but far enough away that it was quiet. We also enjoyed being on the starboard side of the ship. There was enough storage for the 2 of us but I would question it if 3 people were in the cabin.
