We really enjoyed cruising with Princess. We took our daughter and son in law with us on the cruise and we enjoyed almost everything about the cruise. I read all the reviews about the new Royal Princess before we went on our 7 day Caribbean cruise. A lot of them were really not founded.

The food was excellent as always. Always lots of room in the Horizon Courts to eat. The food in the two dining restaurants was also excellent. Only one problem with dining restaurants. Princess need to find a way to reorganize anytime dining as there was always a long wait to get into dining room at night. We found that one very small pool was not enough for such a large ship. They do have an adult pool but it was also very small. Our state rooms were on deck 8 #217 and 219 and we could hear a loud noise coming from the Princess Theatre but it always stopped by11:30 p.m. Yes its true about the toilet paper position but no big deal as you just put a roll on the ledge beside toilet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times. Entertainment was first class. Everything was so clean. It was a pleasure to be on this ship. You will just love it. Only thing different we will do next time is not get any state rooms on deck 8. Too noisy. We will try for deck 9 or 10. We usually get state rooms mid ship but this time they were towards the front of ship and we were near stairs so we never had to depend on elevators and they worked out fine except for a bit of noise. Also there was a knocking noise in our room during the night when the ship was cruising a bit faster. It was not the hangers. The noise was right in the walls of the ship. One more disappointment. The T.V. is mounted on the wall and the walls are very thin and you can hear the T.V. and telephone in the next room. The walls are not as sound proof as other Princess Ships. We really had a great time and you will too.

Cabin Review

Bathroom was great and hand held showers were a real treat. Bed was comfortable. Room size was adequate. Pull out couch was a nice feature. Balcony was small but still acceptable. Cabin was were not as sound proof as other Princess Ships we have been on.
