Our 48th cruise and it was wonderful. It is amazing how many people on the same cruise (1/11/2014) come away with different reviews. The ship was beautiful! All that beautiful glass. Hubby and I took this particular cruise just for the ship. We were very pleased with the beautiful Serenade of the Seas. Royal Caribbean's Radiance class ships are the perfect mid-size ships.

Embarkation and debarkation was easy and fast. We did what everyone did, go to the Windjammer for lunch and then explored the ship until our rooms were ready. The staff, the food, the entertainment, was all good. We are making plans to take this same cruise again next year.

Our balcony was perfect. We enjoyed wrapping up in our robes and blankets to cruise the Mississippi River. Watching the pilots get on and off the ship. As we were going down the river, we passed two Carnival ships coming back from their cruises. For hubby and me that was one of the most exciting nights. We stayed up until we got into the Gulf of Mexico.

Cabin Review

We had a very nice balcony room on deck 7. Plenty of room for two. Our balcony was plenty roomy.
