Legend of the Seas 2/14/14

Sail Date: February 2014
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
We returned just the other day after a magnificent 10 days of 80 degrees and sunshine. Maybe as a northerner I was just so glad to be out of the snow and cold that I have very little negative feelings associated with this cruise.

Our cabin steward was the best we've had. His attention to the cabin exceeded our expectations. In fact all staff were respectful and professional. The dining experience was adequate, actually the other dinner guests at our table combined with the service made every dinner quite enjoyable. Lunch in the main dining room was terrific! Kelly in the Schooners lounge was a highlight.

We were 50/50 on the main theater shows. Loving the piano player and the comedian but we passed on the singing and dancing.

I used the gym everyday. Lievu, the personal trainer was motivating and fun! I especially liked the Park Cafe mostly for the roast beef sandwich. We did wonder why when the ship was renovated public restrooms were not placed on the same More floors as the dining room and casino? We enjoyed Paul Rudder, seeing him interact with passengers was a show in itself. We will see you Feb. 16, 2015. Can't wait!
