As background: We were 4 women family members traveling together. We chose the Dawn for the itinerary and the chance to see ports we had never been to.

Pros: Embarkation was smooth and uneventful. The ship was lovely. Our adjoining Verandah staterooms were very nice. The entertainment was very enjoyable.

Cons: The food was disappointing and no better than average in the dining rooms included in your cruise. We did not try the "Pay Extra" restaurants as we kept hoping the quality would improve as we went along. We wondered if the plan was to make you want to pay extra for decent food. Read more
