2/15/14 Cruise: Pride of America Cruise Review by TM0214

I have read reviews of this cruise, and I was completely confused. We had a wonderful time, and the food, entertainment, and staff were great!
We did our meet and greet the first day and I was amazed that the staff remembered our names and may sure to ask us each time how we were enjoying ourselves when they would see us.
Very organized excursions and all other activities.
Very easy to get on at the start, and at each port. I recommend doing a package thru a travel agent, made getting on board at the beginning quick and easy.
Food was great, and plenty of it. We only did one of the option dinning options, but the general buffet and other places to eat were all good.
Shows on board along with the classes and other fun things to do were all fun and entertaining. We really enjoyed our evenings listing to David play piano and joke with passengers in Pinks Champaign Bar each evening. He is More worth the trip all on his own.
We had a balcony room and worth the upgrade. Room was plenty big enough for the two of us.
All and all would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the best of Hawaii in a short amount of time. Very relaxing break from reality. Choose the excursions for the things you want to see. To each his own, but all were great. And talking with others who did some we did not do, they all had great times also. Less

Room was great and plenty of room for the two of us. Clean and everything worked fine.
Port and Shore Excursions
Wife booked this and it was very informative and interesting.
Port itself was one of the most beautiful with the beaches and shops.
Did the rainforest and waterfall hike. Very physical, but what an experience. Our guide Erik was awesome and a wealth of knowledge. Some of the most beautiful scenery you will see.
Good idea, poor execution.
Felt like a 3rd class passenge...
