Another Wonderful Cruise on the Constellation

Sail Date: February 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

A little about us. We are married in our late 30's early 40's. This is our second cruise on the Constellation. We cruised her last February 2013. We loved the smaller ship because it never feels crowded and it's easy to get around. We also enjoy Celebrity because there are very few children on the ships.

We flew into Ft. Lauderdale a couple of days early and stayed at the Bahai Mar. Very nice hotel, close to the cruise port.

Embarkment was easy breezy, we were on the ship in about 10-15 minutes.

Food- we ate in the main dining room twice and the food was average. We ate in Blu one night and we loved it. The quality of the food was much better than the main dining room. We also had dinner at the Tuscan Grill and were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. We usually book a specialty restaurant on the formal night since we would rather not bring formal dress on the cruise.

The brunch on the last sea day was also very nice. More

Entertainment- We did not attend any of shows. We liked the karaoke in Michael's Bar, we went there a couple of nights. We also saw the DJ in the Reflections lounge. It was fun, but the crowd was so small. There was also a guitar player on the Sunset Deck that was very good, playing folk type music. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on the entertainment on the pool deck. My husband likes the casino so we spent some time there. The casino seems to be the only part of the ship showing wear and tear, especially the bar area.

We loved Café Baccio and the Martini Bar. These were two of our favorite places. We had the drink package and upgraded so we were able to enjoy everything. It was well worth the upgrade for us!

Spa- I had a manicure and although it was expensive, it was one of the best that I've ever had.

Staff- this is where Celebrity shines. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

We'd cruise Celebrity again in a heartbeat. We had a wonderful cruise! Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Constellation 8125

We originally had a CC room but within a couple of days after the booking (we booked late) the prices dropped and I called and they upgraded us to a handicapped Sky Suite. The room was perfect. I was concerned that we were just outside the elevators but we never heard any noise.
