Poker was a Joke on Celebrity Soltice

Sail Date: December 2013
Destination: Australia & New Zealand
Embarkation: Auckland

One of the reasons my wife and i booked a cruise on the Celebrity Soltice was to play poker..We hoped the games available would be reasonable low level stakes.and not tiddlywinks. Perhaps 1-2 nl with min $100 buy in. We new the rake would be high. 10% capped at $15.

What we found was 1-2 with a min buy in of $20 and yet there tournament buy in was $60. They play 2-4 out of Alaska.

There is two ways to ruin a poker game, High rake and low buy ins. Combine the two and you have a joke.

Sack the pit boss.

great boat. Ports great

Main dining room food really bad . Poor cuts of meat. i had an appetizer. One scollop cut into six slices. That was it.

Buffet food. Plenty of variety. I thought the food was good for buffet food.

Shows great

Entertainment poor . Vegetable sculpture and glass blowing. Give me a break

We were the only people in the disco most nights. We are not in the land of the living dead yet so we More like to dance. Less
