Let me start off this review by saying that I am 21 years old and have been on 5 cruises, 3 aboard the NCL Dawn. This one definitely ranked third out of three, however this by no means implies that i will never travel NCL again. There were many things that kept this cruise "afloat", no pun intended.

In terms of embarkation, it was so easy. Coming from Long Island, it was a breeze to leave at around 8am with all of our luggage and be at the pier by 9:30am. As we are latitudes members we waited in a separate part of the terminal and were on the ship by 12:30. Once on board we had a little trouble with our room keys not working, but that was quickly solved. We were told our staterooms would not be ready until 3:30, so we had lunch at the Venetian and we made reservations for Le Bistro early, because of the "2 for 1" special available every night from 5:30 to 6 in the cover charge restaurants.

We had an inside stateroom on the 10th deck. This worked well for my brother and I, and let me tell you, you'll never get a better night sleep in an inside stateroom(it's really dark.)
