The holiday started with flights from Heathrow to Miami Msc had 38 uk holidaymakers on the flight yet hardly anyone was seated together with family members this included diable and children we were lucky people did move around for us as my partner has no lower legs and needed medication ect it is a long flight and this should never happen . We were told this would not happen on our return and our names even took but guess what it did .On getting to Miami we could not use the provided bus as it cannot take wheelchair users we could have had a taxi from MSC for over $260 one way we got our own for $26 make your own mind up on this .The ship is lovely clean and glam just like the photos . Our cabin is huge ,shower room very nice spotless problem with no safety arm rails either side of the shower you usually pull down and the shower head rail is center of shower chair and comes down so far you cannot sit back fully so this made showering without help a no no so much for independance . Our next disappointment was when we tried to book an off shore trip oh you cant do any trips via the ship not one of the trips provided transport for wheelchairs they say to give notice in the paper work all lies you get the same answer . Ok so lets make the best of it 4 lovely pools yes you guest it not one could be used by a wheelchair user all have walls around with steps up and then down to get in .We then discover the cruise is called a back to back so this means the second week is a repeat of the first thats the food menu shows (which also have no proper seating for a wheelchair )and films are all the same as your 1st week . So if you want to pay the same as other guests and go on a 2 week cruise sit apart on the plane go on no trips, not be able to cool off in the pool, shower only with help , sit behind your family at shows , then this will be a good holiday .I feel very let down my partner was made to feel he was spoiling my holiday as he couldnt do anything .MSC wake up it a new ship and if you take disabled holiday makers thats what they want a holiday not just 2 weeks on a ship .

Cabin Review

The cabin was lovely and big very clean bed was comfy .Shower room clean . This is a disabled wet room but has no fitted pull down rails either side of the shower so not very safe for a child or adult to use on own also the shower head rail comes down centre of the shower chair so you cannot even sit back fully on to the shower chair .this is very poor for a new ship and yet it is so important that for independance .
