We arrived on Wed and met our shuttle. We had been to Hawaii on land tour before so the morning of embarkation, the other members of our group went to Pearl Harbor. We took a cab to the port and arrived just before the doors opened (noon I believe). The entire baggage, screening and check in went smoothly and we were soon waiting to board. Our turn came about 1pm and we immediately went to the dining room for a leisurely lunch. While eating and watching other passengers come onboard, our deck was cleared so we could go to our cabin. We dropped off the camera bag, put items in the safe, relaxed and did some more people watching on our deck then did a short tour before finding our safety drill location (no life jackets needed). After the drill we went up on deck for sail away, a drink to toast the trip and finding others of our group.

Spent more time on balcony than in the room - arriving and departure from ports, watching them drop the tenders in Kona as we were one deck above. Weather was beautiful during the cruise and we were able to spend a short time with friend at Kona. Best excursion -- by far, our time with Flyin Hawaiian Zipline on Maui. 3/4 or a mile on less than a minute! Best sight, just can't narrow it down, but the sail by and seeing the lava flowing after dark was impressive. Rainbows graced us daily (weren't we lucky?) and the luck held for the Napoli Coast sail by the last night. Highly recommend this as a way to see Hawaii.

Big enough balcony and invited friends to join us for "lava sail by". Lots of storage. Lighting in bathroom at at desk better than some hotel rooms for putting on makeup. Loved having a couch to relax on and for a drop spot for cameras and the stuff we wanted handy.
