Century dated but well maintained
We boarded Century expecting her to be dated compared to newer ships and this proved to be true. However, to her credit she has aged with grace and has been well maintained. For those with a critical eye you will notice wear on furnishings in some public areas and carpet colors that could use updating. Overall, if you are looking for a well maintained clean ship with good service she will pass the test.
Food quality was very good with the exception of room service. We ordered some cocktail hour items for 7:00 pm that did not arrive until 8:00 pm. After several calls and long hold times no one could explain the delay. The next morning breakfast was so bad we left it on the balcony table and went to the dining room. Evenings in the MDR were very good and consistent.
This was a short cruise and we went to relax so we did not get off the ship in Nassau. We have been there before and wanted to enjoy a quite ship. We went to the spa and enjoyed the Persian Garden and the More Spa Topia treatment package (discounted if booked the first day of the cruise!). Lunch in the Spa Cafe was excellent.
We learned from a crew member that Century has been sold and will be leaving the fleet sometime in late 2015. If you are planning on sailing her before then board her knowing she is an older ship but she and her crew will not disappoint those with realistic expectations. Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Century 9176
Cabin location was great.. Hands down the best closet space we have had out of 25 cruises. Beds are not comfortable and need to be replaced. The mattress was very hard and we could not see sleeping on it for a seven night or longer cruise. Overall nice cabin with good service.
