Perfect holiday

Sail Date: November 2013
Destination: South Pacific
Embarkation: Brisbane

Have cruised with other liners but this was our first with Princess and we loved everyday. We asked our neighbours to travel with us and it was their first time on a cruise ship and they were totally in love with the idea of cruising and have already booked their next one!

We had an inside cabin which I actually really like as I always sleep really well, if you don't think you will like it totally dark there is a small amount of light from the hallway or you can always leave the bathroom light on.

All meals were enjoyable no matter where we ate. Managed to put a few kilos on but we enjoyed every mouthful! Also totally loved the formal nights as they are a great opportunity to dress up.

It was warm enough in the evenings to enjoy the movies under the stars, of course some people complained about the movies available but it must be hard to keep all age groups happy. Best to just go with the flow and if it's not your cup of tea go and see a show.

As we More were on first sitting for dinner quite often we managed 2 shows a night, we felt very very spoilt.

The only negative thing I can say about the Sea Princess was that a few days, especially the day we were at anchor at the Isle of Pines, there was a terrible sewerage smell, hope they get this sorted out as it was so strong we couldn't stay around the pool. Less
