Embarkation was a breeze, diesmbarkation a bit slower as they changed the normal docking pier to accomodate the new NCL Getaway. A truck fire by another ship held up traffic and caused a backlog at Customs and with the shuttle buses.
There was good parking at the port across from the ship ($20 per day).... very easy to access.
The ship is beautiful - you'd never guess its age. It was clean and bright, and very easy to get around.
The crew is always smiling and cheerful and very helpful.
The food was good and we never had to wait to be seated at either the Palace or Crossings Dining Rooms. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch on Deck 11 Aft, getting our food from either The Great Outdoors or the Garden Cafe. We could always find a table or a deck chair and enjoyed the sundeck area on the bow areas of Deck 11 and 12.
Enjoyed exploring the ports we visited (Freeport & Nassau) and walking the beach on Great Stirrup Cay.
All in all, this was a wonderful short cruise for a winter getaway. Spent a day pre- and post-cruise in Florida to round out the week.
