CARNIVAL DOES NOT CARE - ONSHORE OR OFF

It was the WORST!!!
-Dirty tables throughout the ship, dinner service that took 2 hours (approx 15 min between courses),
-Dirty throughout - typically you see staff cleaning throughout the day... never saw anyone with a vacuum in the hallways or wiping down the glass or tables for that matter
-Pushy drink stewards who when you finally ordered a drink - never returned- waited over 20 minutes when the decks were only 10% full finally left.
-Serenity was so packed that you could not find any empty seat
-Bar service - only good bartender was at the Atrium Bar. Sat and had to wait for drinks everywhere. Ordered beer hoping for faster service and it came out warm. Asked for a cold glass.... no one came back. Finally put More the bottle in a glass of ice water... still took forever for anyone to notice. Service was so SLOW
-No one greeted you. We entered the ship with staff just putting the card in the slot and not looking up most of the time. No one greeted you throughout the day... It was rare that you got a good morning, afternoon, or evening.
-Staff sleeping in hallways or just hanging out with their towel or broom leaning up against the wall
-NO OFFICERS to be found. The only time we say an officer was during a crew drill in Mexico.
Leadership starts from the top and it was obvious that these officers did not give a hoot or we would have seen them.
-Dinner Service staff... okay I admit, that the song is corny... but they were not even mouthing the song. They made faces during it and it was very uncomfortable. I must say that Alex on the last night was nice but service was slow.
-Cabin - Sink drain was clogged, only one bar of soap, it was clean but I would only rate it as the bare min of clean
-Public Restrooms - Filthy. I did not even want to wash my hands... TP on the floor, empty rolls, NO TP in the stalls, I would have rather used a rest stop along the freeway than used these.
Food Only of Dinning Experience - Buffet was okay, out of food a lot. Dinning Room - Above Average. Taste Bar - Good
Now for the Pros
Shore excursion in Mexico was AWESOME. Wine Country tour, very informative and loved every minute of it
Catalina - We hiked and had a great day
Dance and Comedy shows were great.
Love Marty in the Piano Bar, he was on our cruise out of FL too.
Called Carnival when we returned and complained. THEY COULD CARE LESS is how I felt after that call.
Also responded to their survey online.
Worst part is we are booked in March for the same cruise with our kids. It is their first sail, I hope it is better than our past experience. Called to upgrade our room for the next cruise... just in case it is bad again, at least our kids will have some good memories of the ship... 240.00 later we are upgraded.
Bad news - Our Faster to the Fun pass is only good for one cabin... They want us to pay another 50 for the kids cabin. SERIOUSLY!!! Are they all about sales at this point?
In conclusion, I am starting feel as though no one at Carnival gives a crap. Which is so SAD. I raved about our previous trips and now to feel as though this one was an F- on the grade scale.... very disappointed. Less
