Let me explain the title of my review. The ship just came out of dry dock for renovations. This was a 4 day cruise to Cozumel, the 7 day cruises started after we got back. I felt this short cruise was to make sure everything was up to par and any remaining issues from the renovations could be addressed.
I'll start with the positives. Our experience with the MDR staff was great, we had an exceptional waiter and asst. waiter. The food was adequate but not great. The Windjammer food selection was also adequate. .
The Royal Promenade was over crowded, noisy and had a strong cigarette order coming up from the casino.
The live music being played was so loud you could not sit at any of the venues to enjoy a beverage and carry on a conversation.
RCI implemented a new photo processing system that was no way tested fully. There were many unhappy guests attempting to find and purchase their onboard photos.

have waited for a few weeks to join the spring break cruises. The hot tubs in the Solarium were overtaken by loud obnoxious guests.
We returned to Galveston to find out the port was closed due the extreme sea fog. Things like this happen at this time of the year and understood. The Captain did keep us informed of the situation with regular updates. As the morning turned into early afternoon, the passengers who decided to walk off of the ship with their luggage migrated to deck four to wait. There were people blocking the stairways and getting around was difficult. Once we were able to dock, there was nothing orderly about getting off of the ship. It appeared there was no plan for getting everyone off of the ship. It was pretty much a free for all, with passengers coming up and down the stairways and elevators. There were several passengers in need of wheelchairs that were forgotten.
This was our 5th RCI cruise and it did not meet the expectations we had from previous cruises. Less

Our cabin for the most part was good. The lights in the hallway outside of our cabin did not work for the duration of the cruise, even after mentioning this to our cabin attendant. The faucet in the bathroom would only sputter out water and sometime only have hot water coming out. This was mentioned to our cabin attendant but we didn't seen any change during the remainder of the cruise.
