I am 23 and I went to the Bahamas on the Sensation with my boyfriend and his family over Thanksgiving as a last minute type of trip. This was my first cruise and they have all been on multiple cruises before. I think this is a great cruise for first timers and for people who are just trying to make a short getaway trip to a tropical place. Obviously I was not expecting lavish gourmet food and top notch decor and amenities. If you go into it with unrealistic expectations in regard to what you are paying for and what you receive, then yes you will be disappointed. If you go in with limited expectations then you will be sure to be pleased.

Embarkation was simple and quick. It is impressive how well they are able to organize such a massive affair in a timely manner considering the amount of people and things that must be done before entering (checking in, taking picture, getting your card, having your passport checked etc).

Our interior cabin was decently sized and comfortable. We were able to watch football in our cabin which my boyfriend enjoyed. The robes that they provide was a surprising and nice touch. We never had any problems with our room not being cleaned or bed made.
