We had such a great time on this cruise!!! We had Platinum status and check-in was a breeze!!! We took a cab there from our overnight hotel. It started things off great! Our luggage was in our room lickety split and got all unpacked and ready for adventure before our friends who had a transfer ticket from their hotel. We had been on the Coral Princess 2 yrs previously with the Alaskan cruise and we were so surprised when we got on and the whole ship had been refurbished!! everything looked new and fresh! everyone so nice. i did wish tho i wasn't pressured to buy the soda pop package. i love my water which wasn't offered on any card and would have loved to have had regular water or flavored water offered. i didn't use the package much as i would just get ice water everywhere. the food seemed much better this trip too. could have been my imagination but loved the variety. only complaint was the dining room-we would go in as soon as opened at 5:15pm and to get all our courses done and out of there to see first showing at theatre was a real trick. just took too long with the serving. BUT the best part of the whole cruise was the entertainment!! we just couldn't get over how good each one was!! Daniel Oliver on the piano was fantastic!!! No matter where he played, he had a following! the On the Bayou! show in the Universal Lounge was so great!!!! the singers and dancers did a great job with a variety of shows!! AND the irish comedian had my husband and i crying we were laughing so hard!! Everybody was great!!!! we sure enjoyed going thru the locks but we were afraid to get off the ship in panama and cartagena as it looked too unsafe for us. we enjoy the eastern/southern caribbean ports better. but glad we did and saw the panama canal. also, wanted to mention how funny the nighttime game shows were with the cruise staff!! loved the banter with susan and john (cruise director and asst cruise director) every morning on tv . they have great chemistry together. thanx for a wonderful cruise with princess. already planning our next!!!!!

Cabin Review

Our cabin was small (of course) but very well planned out. we love how we have the dressing area with hangers/safe/shelves all there for you close to the bathroom to aid in getting ready for your day. the beds were comfortable and our room steward Roger was very attentive. Loved coming in during day or night and the room would be nice and clean and bathroom stocked with clean linens. And our room was in such a great area!! we were so close to everything!!! just down the hall from the internet cafe which was nice cause i am an early riser and could go down and check my emails etc before the day started. it was close to elevators to go up and down to eat or go to pool area and close to the atrium elevators to be in the hub of things.
