Wonderful Crew. A pleasure to be with them.

Sail Date: February 2014
Destination: Canary Islands
Embarkation: Tenerife

This was our first cruise so we have nothing to compare it with BUT we do have to say that the crew, mostly from the Philippines, were so pleasant and efficient.

We had an outside cabin in the centre of the ship.Very good 5ft bed. Some passengers towards the rear of the ship complained about poor sleep quality due to the vibration from the prop' shaft.

All areas were of a reasonable standard.

Of the the three restaurants. We decided to use the Lido restaurant which was was ,admittedly, a little like 'Woolworths' canteen. However, the standard of food was very good with ample choice and served piping hot.To reduce the risk of any cross infection the food was served to you by staff wearing plastic gloves. Also on entering the restaurant you were given a 'Shot' of anti bacterial hand gel.All of these precautions have to be complimented and was fine with us.

We found the drinks package price to be unacceptable and opted for the 'Wine package' at More £59.80.This gave you five bottles of wine, red, rose or white. You could then take the bottle with you to your cabin or to the show or any of the bar areas. You can purchase this package on arrival at the ship or later in the restaurant.

The evening shows were excellent.Well produced and most enjoyable.

On shore the 'Caldera' tour in Las Palmas Island was superb and the 4X4 tour in Funchal was a real treat. Didn't disembark at Agadir

.At Lanzarote we went into Costa Teguise for a four hour look around.Nice place.

Can't really understand peoples complaints.Very good value. Less
