This was our 7th time on the Adventure, a truly great ship with a great itinerary. We have sailed from San Juan many times so we knew to get to the port around 11am, just had a small wait and we were on the ship by noon.
For a ship about to enter dry dock she is looking pretty good, didn't notice much more than some minor wear and tear.
We stayed in a GS, the Suite was very nice, clean and has the usual suite perks that go along with it, cabin steward was quiet and we hardly saw him, but he did a very nice job.
The ports were great, we walked from the port to town in St Thomas along the water which was great, spent the day sightseeing and a little shopping. St Kitts was a beach day and we headed to Fryars Bay, very nice setting although small, had a great bar and restaurant. It was nice to be in Aruba late, we had a chance to got to Palm beach for the day and also do some sightseeing in town. Curacao was Mambo Beach, which we hardly recognized since we were More
there 2 years ago, it has grown significantly with shops restaurant's and bars, we had great weather all week.
The sea days were great, we love to spend all day by the pool, we had a great location both days right by the Sky Bar, but just try to get a drink, sometimes it took almost 10 minutes to get served, that seemed to be the rhythm of service on this ship, hit or miss, especially at the bars, this may have been an off week but it was a little discouraging when you got a little thirsty.
This was our 25th cruise and can honestly say something was missing this time, was not the same.
We did as we always do have an excellent time and we will be back on Royal soon. Less
