We weren't expecting a lot but as we have cruised with Carnival twice before (Alaska and Europe) thought we could get the same great service. However it was the absolutely the worst experience ever! In speaking with other "cruisers" they felt the same way, like this must be the trainee ship-The food was horrible, not enough stations with a variety of food, the waiter for our any time dining was dismal waiting over 30 minutes just to be "noticed" even though there were 2 other tables between us and they were waiting on in a some what of a fashion. Once we finally got noticed (did I mention it was elegant night) no offer of what drink we would like (only had water), dinner was horrible (ordered lobster) and the waiter never did say he was sorry other then mentioning that his computer was acting up! Although I did mention to the head waitress the next night-felt like we caused the issue (what issue just wanted the same service we have previously had)!
Our room steward although he tried to remember who we were, had a hard time with our simple names-when we requested a cork screw, were told to call room service-good luck as it was consistently busy-never got though. We have another cruise scheduled on the Legion in August (our favorite ship), just hope we get the great service we are used to and someone see's this and corrects all the issues before the ship looses all their customers
