The Summit looked way better than its age. All carpet and paint looked new . WE had 5 concierge rooms side by side. Excellent location midship. Workers were constantly cleaning the ship, scrubbing down walls, and actually steam cleaned carpet in rooms. I am not sure but I think they were worried about the norovirus that struck a ship the week before.

We dined in main dining room 5 times and the food was very good. We were not really impressed with our maitre.d. We all had classic drink package. Never had problem getting drinks and could get almost any drink on the menu. They also did not charge a gratuity on drink package.

First port St. Croix,went to Sand Castle on the beach. $25 2 chairs umbrella 2 drinks.Great deal. Second port St. Kitts used Bulah for whole day trip. We had George as tour guide excellent.Third port Dominica. Short 2 hour tour $10 a person. nice. Fourth port Grenada, We did Seafaris boat. Fantastic. Fifth port St. Thomas we went to Secret beach rented chairs and large sun block tent. Great snorkeling. All excursions were done on our own,not thru cruise ship
