HI FOLKS...we just got back from the jan. 26th cruise on the Sunshine. I will put this bluntly....LIPSTICK ON A PIG....it is a 20 yr old ship with a $155 million face lift by a back room surgeon. Fresh paint doesn't make a nice ship...there was a sewer smell in various parts of the ship...anyway, we were in cabin 7266 with a balcony, and for $800 each, i would expect better.
At first we were hoping that all the neg things we heard were untrue. But then, it all began to unfold. Overcrowding, being shut out of the small limelight lounge, the lines to eat...etc.
We were on a family trip which was the only thing that kept us sane.
But our cabin, 7266 was the pits. there was exposed electrical outlets, beds that would not drop down, rusting balconies and the wort thing was the bathroom. Toilet gaskets that would not seat, and the mold, omg all over the tub and shower curtain.
