Travelled with an 8 year old, 2 and a half year old and 13 month old. My husband and I could not tell who was having the best time. The kids loved watching the whales and dolphins from our balcony cabin which was my favorite part of the cruise. Definitely don't go below a category other than a balcony cabin room. I will never cruise inside or window again.

The kids loved the Illusionarium show, especially the 8 and 2 yr old who thought the actresses were princesses. The 8 year old still talks about the show. It was fantastic. The surf and turf dinner was good and so was the trio dessert. The 13 month old got ansy after a little while and we went walking around the museum which was interesting. The shows were very professional.

The Garden atrium buffet on deck 15 was extensive and delicious. So many choices for breakfast and lunch. The buffet is endless but don't miss the last few dishes. They are the most exotic. One day there were two very good indian dishes.

Cabin Review

Our children's first cruise and the balcony mini suite was a hit. We had connecting rooms so the kids slept in one cabin while we relaxed, ordering room service and watching a movie in the other cabin. Can't imagine how a family of four or five could fit in just one. It was nice having 2 bathrooms which were classy. The double sink is nice though the depth is too narrow to properly wash up before bed. The beds are a bit hard, especially compared to our plush mattresses at home. We had a queen mattress though some mini suites advertise king bed.
