Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
Next was the counter problem only a few people working with guests to check you in shame on you Princess for cutting back. The ship was large and hard to figure out and all they gave us was a map of the ship no one in sight to answer any questions how to get from one pointe to another. As far as the room it was ready and luggage arrived quickly. After that we attempted to go to the Horizon Buffet. Food is nice for breakfast and lunch my only complaint there is alot of dirty tables waiting to be cleaned up. It seems you have to stand at one and wait for someone to clean it up. Dinners in the dining room is basic not like it used to be again cutting back.
Entertainment is More horrible at night unless you are over 70 and want to hear songs from the 50's. There was a large percentage of older folks. Seems like they could do something for everyone else. We tried the disco on several occastions but always terrible music not a disco for sure! Specialty restaurants were good. They also have an area on the ship that has cabannas and private sitting area but you have to pay to sit there. Really Princess you are the only ship out there that charges for this. The big movie screen at the pool is good for watching if you get bored while sunning. They show concerts and movies. Seems like my only night time entertainment was the movie and tv selection in the room. Cannot believe I watched a movie every evening as the nightly entertainment. Getting off the ship was great maybe due we had the first time off. This was my third time on a Princess ship and it was the last!! Less
