Ship Facts: Carnival Glory Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Glory Deck Plans
Nothing elegant on this cruise!

We have been on 20 different cruises but never on Carnival. We were looking for something out of FL for a last minute get away. The itinerary was good and even included a port we had never visited. Boarding was smooth. Our balcony room was ready when we boarded. Room was sufficient though bathroom was on the small size. We were on the wait list for open seating but since we booked our cruise last minute that did not concern us. We were assigned late dining which was fine. We ate in the Platinum dining room. It was noisy and lacks adequate staff. The decor is also unattractive; there were painted cherry tree branches and cherry blossoms on a platinum background and nothing else!!

Food selection is decent. One evening prime rib was served. We had never seen prime rib half an inch thick! We also thought the breakfast buffet needed to have more variety. Lunch was also sufficient but it would have been nice to see more selection of whole food. Sometimes we wanted to have cheese and crackers available with our cocktails but those items are hard to find. We really have to give a poor rating to the entertainment. Two different comedians were very good but the variety shows looked like we were watching high school kids perform. The ship does have comfortable lounge chairs in an adult serenity area on deck where we spent most of our time.

The cruise was overall relaxing but definitely not an outstanding event. We will not board another Carnival ship.
