Sail Date: Feb 2014

We have been on about 10 cruises, have sailed with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and MSC, and have just returned from a 7-day on the Celebrity Summit out of San Juan. Overall we are extremely impressed with Celebrity.

At first, we were not sure we were going to be happy on this cruise as when we checked into our stateroom, (an inside cabin), there was a large wet place on the carpet next to the bathroom door. We called stateroom services right away and they were there in a flash. They explained that the silicone caulking in the bathroom needed to be repaired and a workman came soon to do the work while we were at dinner. The next day they brought a blower to our room to dry out the carpet alll day while we were ashore.

We had read that the Summit had just had a remodeling done, but the floors in the Ocean View Cafe were out of level and had many weak spots that could trip you up, so we were wondering just what had been remodeled.
