Sail Date: Jan 2014

We returned February 8 2014 after our 2 week cruise to the Caribbean. We have cruised many times with several cruise companies but this was our first and I am sure our last with P&O.

The singers and dancers worked hard and produced excellent performances of a high standard. Unfortunately the same can not be said about the standard of food in the main restaurant and self service area. The menu choice was far from the standard we had come to expect from other cruise companies. Food often arrived cold, it was not as described on the menu, presentation was very poor and often inedible. Surely when so many passengers are sending food back uneaten the chef needs to ask why? We did complain but were just told the chef would be informed.

The layout of this cabin was very similar to that on many other ships we have been on with several other cruise companies. All the usual facilities. Unfortunately we had a toilet that was very temperamental and flushed when it wanted and it would have been convenient if it was when we chose. We reported this several times to our cabin assistant but unfortunately it was still not repaired after 2 weeks.
