Celebrity Reflections is a lovely ship. We love the Celebrity Reflections Concierge Soltstice class Eastern Caribbean cruise. The stateroom with a balcony was quite nice, queen size bed, balcony, big screen tv, and refrigerator. Jim and Francisco, our stateroom attendants were very attentive.
The Opus Restaurant had a splendid menu each day. The food was good, much better than we expected. The food was good, and did not taste like mass produced food. The caribbean lobster, lamb shanks, rib eye steak, and the duck was delicious.
We picked the Celebrity Select Dining Plan so we could dine on our own schedule and we did not have to eat every day with strangers. Opus was fine that we opted out of dressing up for Formal Nights. We were on vacation and we decided we have enough dress formal nights at home. We dressed smart casual for dinner.
We loved the fitness center, the Library, Martini Bar, and The Masters Wine Cellar. There were lots of places to kick back, read, and chill out.
Kathleen Dunbar, the headliner at the Comedy Club was hilarious. We expect to see her on a Comedy Central special soon. The Reflections Theater shows were good evening entertainment. We traveled the week of the Superbowl and the cruise organized a fun pre-game tailgate and Superbowl Party in the Reflections Theater.
Two good tips.: First, get the Classic and Premium Beverage Plans and this allowed us all the spring water, soft drinks, and adult beverages we wanted.
Second, we stayed at the Epic Hotel Miami, Florida the day before the cruise and Celebrity has a hotel deal rate and a transfer by bus from the hotel to the ship.
All in all, we had a great time in sun away from all this snow. We had three at sea days so we could relax and enjoy our time off. The itinerary was fine- San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, USVI, and St. Maarten. If you have not cruised Celebrity, try it.
