Did not get to go this time, but I have been before on the GEM and it is great fun! It was too windy to tender to the beach, so we went to Nassau that night and after dinner got off the ship. It was very quiet at the port. Felt unsafe to walk around. Not used to tourists at night there. I think Norwegian needs to get proper docking facilities at the Great Stirrup Cay for the Breakaway like Disney has. It seems others have also been disappointed on previous sailings because they did not stop there. Still, we had so much fun at the Atlantis water park and arrived earlier than anybody else.

Great Stirrup Cay

Great. Modern. Large bathroom and large shower with 8 or more shower sprays. Mini suite. No tub. Large comfortable bed. Bigger than a queen. Beautiful views and great location on ship.

Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and there were so many staff in the Manhattan Room they were almost funny.It is a bit more spacious than a regular balcony room.
