Sail Date: Jan 2014

My husband & I along with 2 friends sailed on the Carnival Sunshine. We left out of New Orleans on January 26th. We had sail Carnival Conquest & had a fantastic experience. We were so excited to sail with Carnival again.

The ship was 1 1/2 late setting sail. There was a buffet, but the food was so bad it was almost unbeatable.

Our first formal night was Monday night. We arrived at the dining room at 5:45pm. We were seated quickly & brought water, bread & butter. It took an hour after we were seated to get our salad. Fourth five minutes after we had the salad the main course arrived. I ordered prime rib & baked potato. The potato was cold, brown on the inside & hard. My husband order lobster tail & shrimp. One 4" lobster tail & three shrimp. That's it. No one came by to ask how we were doing or if everything was OK.
