Just back from a great cruise on the Breakaway. Loved the ship and the crew. Getting on was easy but first lunch hectic - it was so cold out everyone converged in one place so not blaming NCL for that one - other than that we never had to wait at ports to get on/off - easier that the other smaller ships we've been on in the past - and when we got back into NYC we did walk off and was off the ship and through customs in 15 minutes - easy easy.

Our fears that 4100 on a ship would be too much were never realized - we didn't feel crowded or rushed - and with reservations for the shows now actually found it easier to see shows than on Celebrity, Holland, Royal Caribbean, or the NCL Dawn or NCL Gem. Taking advice from other reviewers we booked a mini suite with over sized balcony and loved it - nice to have the extra two lounge chairs on our balcony - I would definitely book the same cabin again if possible.

NCL app for the iPhone worked well, as well as the touch screens throughout the ship - used both for making reservations - couldn't have been easier - kudos to NCL for this! Entertainment was best we've had on any of our past cruises - no longer watching the same people change costumes every night, each show was unique with different people performing - excellent.

Cabin Review

Exellent cabin - will definitely book an M6 next time we cruise on the Breakaway. Balcony had 2 chairs, a table AND 2 lounge chairs.
