Elation was so-so

Sail Date: January 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: New Orleans

Sail date was 1/30 - 2/3. Embarkation was quite easy and convenient. Parked in the Erato Cruise Terminal Parking garage and then to port. Got on the ship with no problems at all and didn't need to purchase faster to fun option because everything was ready for us.

Cabin M104 was tidy but: air didn't work well, the vent in the bathroom didn't work and the one outlet would was loose and would come out of the wall and/or your appliance would fall out of the socket if your weren't careful. Cabin was kept stocked for our needs.

The food on this cruise is the same as Ecstacy but had some issues with hair and eggshell in my food and the was from main dining. The Pizza Pirate servers do not like to make the specialty pizzas and will put up a little bit of a fight to not have to make them.

Over all this Cruise ship is a "booze cruise". That seems to be the main focus and people can smoke on this cruise. Cozumel was a pretty nice port. Not too many vendors harassing More you to purchase items or service. Went to Nachi Cocom Beach Club and it was not crowded at all and enjoyed some peace and quiet. Had unlimited drinks and nice lunch. Trip from port to our destination was a breeze. Less

Nachi Cocom was a nice place. Had a really good 30 min massage by "Dorita". Go see her if you book a day at Nachi Cocom. She's worth the $. There may have been a total of 50 people there by the time we left. We had use of the beach, pool, chairs and umbrellas, unlimited drinks and a nice lunch for the price we paid. Some services are not included and there is an extra cost. We did have to keep telling the vendor for excursions "no" we weren't interested in buying anything. I think it was because it was slow and maybe he was bored.

Easy to get to and easy to park. Not too terribly expensive for the duration of our cruise.
