This was a holiday of a lifetime and thanks to Cruisecritic everything was as we'd expected if not, better. Embarkation was quick and easy. Found our way around the ship and to our cabin very easily where our shore excursion tickets were waiting for us.

Day One - HILO, did the Volcanoes National Park and Rainbow Falls tour and had a great guide called Donna. A good trip and the park itself is an amazing place, also stopped at a macadamia Nut Factory and tried a few samples then headed for Rainbow Falls. As is typical with Hilo, it did rain a few times but did not deter us. That night we went up on deck to watch the lava flow. Words cannot describe how truly amazing this is and I know we'll never see anything like it again.

Day Two/Three - MAUI, docked here for 2 days. We chose a cabin with a balcony and on this day I'm so glad we did. The view as you sail into Maui with the sun rising is amazing and peaceful. A beautiful island. The first day of this port we did the Haleakala Crater and Ocean Centre. The crater itself is proof of how amazing nature is, however it is cold at the top so take a jumper or sweat top. We were disappointed with the Ocean Centre, it's quite small compared to others we've been to. In the evening we went the Paradise Luau which was a really nice evening, if you've never been to one then go you'll enjoy it. On the second day we went shopping and just relaxed by the pool.
