Just returned from a lovely relaxing fortnight in the sun. Ventura was as we remembered from a previous Med cruise 2 and a half years ago, no better and no worse. If you travel on this ship you will get good( not gastro) food, friendly staff who do a super job of looking after you (in the allocated time) and do their very best to make the mediocre feel special, cabins with good storage and comfy beds(not deep cleaned for the OCD brigade but reasonably clean)with nicely fitted bathrooms, but most of all (unless you are one of the uptight brigade with truly unreasonable expectations) you will get to relax and be spoilt for a very realistic price. Ventura is not a ship for the picky but if you like down to earth good fun (not yobbishness) this is the place to find it. We didn`t use all the facilities during our fortnight but I will give a brief resume of those we did.

Room service.

We used this for breakfast every morning and for occasional afternoon snacks and drinks.Nice food (I agree about the toast, it could be better),pleasant service and speedy delivery.

Cabin Review

Nice cabin 3 from the front(sorry bow) port side. We booked on a getaway deal so were allocated this cabin. Were a bit worried because we`ve always had rear or midship before but no problem at all, infact good for access to many of the facilities and didn`t notice any huge motion issues even on the one day with slightly higher seas. Menino the cabin steward was a total star and spoilt us rotten.
