Let me start by listing what is good on the ship
1) Cleanliness...they are constantly reminding people to spray/clean their hands and they have a very animated lady at the buffet entrance saying "washy washy.....happy happy"
2) waiters and serving staff: very good, efficient but not animated like Carnival staff
Cabin Review
We had a balcony which was good except for the a__hole smoker below us who was a chain smoker ( NCL allows smoking on balcony). The cabin layout on the Epic is very different than normal, they have a circular glass door for the toilet on one side, another circular glass door on the other for the shower (opaque) and the sink in the main cabin room. Nobody we talked to liked this layout. The clearance from the cabin sink area to the bed was 17 inches so if you have a big waist ......suck it in going by. The TV had many pay movies available and 1 free movie channel which reran the same movies again and again. Besides that they had 1 children's' channel and the rest were news and business news type.
