Sail Date: Jan 2014

The Celebrity Xpedition is an excellent choice for a cruise in the Galapagos Islands. The ship was built in Germany in 2001 and has been sailing in the Galapagos Islands for 10 years. They know what they are doing.

We started in Quito. We were met at the airport and transferred to the JW Marriott Hotel. The Hotel was very good. The next day we had a tour of the city and a trip to the equator. The lunch was excellent. We had dinner at Carmine Restaurant. The dinner was outstanding. The next day we took the Celebrity Charter flight on AeroGal to Baltra. All the transfers were handled efficiently.

We were transferred to the ship by Zodiacs. My only complaint about the ship is that the beds are small. One bed is attached to the wall. You can have the beds placed together but then you have only one side to exit the bed. This is not good in the middle of the night.

Cabin Review

The beds were too small and one bed was attached to the wall. The shower was very good.
