This was our 5 th cruise, and third on Enchantment. We wanted a inexpensive getaway cruise, and seeing Enchantment was on the Bahama run, we booked. We also opted for the drinking package this time out, which figures out to 7 frozen drinks a day, and we broke even. I did walk away about $300 to the good from the casino, covering the base cruise costs.
We ate most of our meals in the dining room this cruise, and everything was excellent. By the third night our adult beverages were waiting for us when we arrived, and we were on a first name basis. This cruise had a good number of activites, and did NOT have relentless bingo announcements. We took this cruise slow and enjoyed lots of pool time, including the day at the private island, which we skipped this time. The experienced cruiser like us headed for the Solarium when the dark clouds appeared to score great seats along the windows.
Not many kids this week (11/11), and it was generally an enjoyable cruise. There was less entertainment in Schooners, and no music in the dining room. There was more action in the Centruim this cruise, but the piano bar at Schooners is a great place to hang out. Movies running this cruise were good, Iron Man 3, Lone Ranger, etc. Why don't they run some movies in the daytime? Also the departure buffet with hot dogs and burgers wasn't that great. They can just save the money and go back to a lobster tail for dinner one night.
It was expected to be the same as the last trip, and its a place to sleep. We can 100% unpack and store away things, and the new flat screens give you a little more room on the desk. We didn't bring a laptop this time, so we had lots of room this trip. About 3 rooms to bow they had plumbing issues, and our toilet did not flush on the first push. Sure enough, we look out and they have the panels off the wall and are resetting the pressure valves. Clearly they have some plumbing issues brewing somewhere. I am just glad ours was ok.
