Boarding the Cruise was orderly and efficient. Lunch at the Windjamer was way too crowded and almost impossible to get a table but Suite passengers get a separate small dining area so it worked out OK,
Our room was suite 1600. It was a great choice due to the extra large balcony in the rear of the ship. Our friends had a siute in the middle and ours was better. The Steward was very good and kept the ice coming etc.
We found the Mistral (main) dining room crowded and the food of poor quality. We did however enjoy the Windjamer buffets which we thought were very good. A good variety of foods daily and well staffed. We loved the Chops Steak House and thought the food and service there were outstanding. On the other hand Giovanni's was lousy. The main course came out before the appetizers and the quality was fair to poor. No one there is Italian and they know nothing about Italian food so don't waste your money.
