Lovely ship, but.......

Sail Date: January 2014
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Fastest embarkation ever, 17 minutes from entering the terminal to crossing the gangway. We'll done Princess. Beautiful ship, quietly elegant. Cabin was standard size for Princess and quite nice.

Food service was OK, but not outstanding, some days we waited quite a while for courses to arrive. The food itself was very good.

The absence was central stairs will cause more than acceptable waits for crowded elevators and needs to be addressed in a future refit.

Too few deck areas for sea days. Add a pool aft please.

The casino having a ceiling two decks up allows cigarette smoke to fill the gift shop, art gallery and piazza, redesign needed here.

Staff could not have been nicer, a first class group, but they could not make up for the design flaws in the ship.

We enjoyed the Ruby Princess more than the Royal Princess and are surprised that newer isn't necessarily better. Less

Standard cabin as per other Princess ships, fully acceptable. Shower is larger and appreciated.
