This was our third cruise , the second with Princess, and from the moment we stepped on board we were thoroughly impressed.

Our cabin had ample space for all our needs and the cabin staff wonderful. The room was serviced at least three times per day and done while we were absent from the room so it didnt interfere with us.

The meals at the dining room were good if we didnt like something the waiters had no hesitation in getting something else for us. We were seated on a six table and had the same couples every night and found them to be great dinner companions.

We only did one tour of the princess and that was to St petersburg. We did the 2 day tour and found that it served the purpose and we saw everything that we had wanted to see with that tour. All other ports we did on our own and found the cities very easy to get around and had no problems at all. Do some research on the internet so you have some idea of where to go and what to see.

We would recommend the princess line if you are looking for a quiet cruise ...It isnt a line that encourages young children and most passengers on this cruise were aged 45 and above.
